Directions & Parking

The major airport Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is 18 miles from the campus and is served by most major airlines. Taxi service (about $50.00 per trip) is available from the airport to Wayne State University. The closest Amtrak train station (11 West Baltimore Avenue, Detroit, MI 48202) is one mile away from the campus.

The Wayne State University campus is located in the center of Detroit right at the juction of the Lodge and I94 highways. It is also easily accessible from highways I75 (north and south bound) and I96.

On-campus parking is available on Friday and Saturday at Parking Structure 2 (5150 Lodge Service Drive, Detroit, MI 48202), $6.50 per day. Credit cards are needed to pay at the entrance. Other parking structures may also be available on Friday with different rates. Their locations can be found in the campus map below.
